Another excellent post, Charles, debunking much of the official narrative on Cuba.
I am intrigued to hear more about the formation of the new constitution in the 2018-2019 period; about how this process went and the diversity of views represented in the debates on major issues. I know you've written about this in previous posts as it pertains to transgender and gay rights and other social issues. But it would be interesting to hear about what kind of proposals for economic and political reforms were discussed and to find ut more abtou the diversity of opinions on these issues that exists within the party and society as a whole. It would make a fascinating post!
