I like what you say in your opening paragraph about validating sources of information. I don't think that s the expectation here, the propaganda machine from CNN to FOX and further down is so set on what needs to be the slant that it is just not worth listening to them on any matter. Of course, if is about an ideology they find threatening because it will bring some dignity to the poor, we have to squash it.
